The Print Connoisseur

The Print Connoisseur provided subscribers with a quarterly journal that focused on artists producing etching, woodcuts, lithographs, and engravings. Each issue included an original piece of art, many of which were commissioned for that issue.
Published under the direction of Winfred Porter Truesdell

In 2006, a complete index was published by
Alan Wofsy Fine Arts with the names of all artists who's artworks were published during the period 1920-1932:



 

G.B. Jackson and Yoram Meroz, San Francisco, California.: 8 volumes, 120 pages. 50 plates inlcuding, 16 color plates. Sewn in boards. This is the first index to this celebrated journal for print collectors. The 44 issues contain articles by the major curators, scholars and collectors of the period and include oeuvre catalogues of the work of many graphic artists which appear nowhere else. The issues also includes original prints.
