NORMANDY

The artist T F Šimon met his future wife
Vilma Kracikova in 1903 in Ault Onival / Normandy.
He returned to this village at the sea frequently for many years, alone or with his wife and children.

Ault-Onival was from the second half of the 19th century untill 1914 a popular village for the upperclass to stay. Artists were inspired by the pictoresque towns like Ętretat, Le Treport, Fécamp, Honfleur and the beautiful sea-coastline.
