Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic* Prague, January 24, 1871  - † Prague, March 5, 1951, was a Czech writer, publisher and literature critic. He was one of the founders of the Modern Revue (1894-1925), where work of young writers, like the brothers Čapek, was first published and he was the founder of the Karáskova Galerie, a large collection of Slavic paintings, graphics and books..
